Sharebot XXL Plus is a professional 3D printer with a large building volume: it’s the upgrade of the successful Sharebot XXL; like its parent, Sharebot XXL Plus uses the FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) technology to build big size prototypes and models. XXL Plus has the same external dimensions as XXL and the same innovative design. The printing area is larger, 720 x 250 x 200 mm and it introduces a new heating system for the printing bed.

The printer also has a new X and Y axes calibration system (the Y-axis now has two independent engines) which allows having a more precise printing process for high-quality models and prototypes: this makes XXL Plus even more suitable for professionals than its predecessor. Our technicians also added a new leveling system for the Z-axis for a more stable process. Sharebot XXL Plus needs low maintenance and it’s ready to print in just a few minutes: through the easy, intuitive, and nice interface you’ll be in full control of all the printing process with the possibility to adjust and modify all the printing setting set in the slicing software.

The filament presence detector was renewed to give all the professional users a better tool to optimize their printing process and their workflow. The detector allows pausing the process when the filament end, so that the user does not lose all his work that has already been printed. Sharebot XXL Plus also offers the possibility to print many new materials like the exclusive ABSolute® and Sharebot WOOD.

PLA’s the most used 3D printing material, composed by a thermoplastic polymer derivated from corn and it’s biodegradable. PLA’s resistant and solid (avoiding the warping effect during the printing process) without retraction and deformation. Available in a lot of different colors, it doesn’t release any smell and it can be extruded at lower temperatures than any other material without having to heat the printing bed.

It is an elastic polymeric material that could be stretched and forced without damaging it: TPU will always come back to its original form. Sharebot WOOD 3D printing filament is a mixture of modified PLA charged with true micronized wood powder. WOOD is printed at low temperatures and it can be easily carved with sand papers or tumbling machines after the printing process. Its porous texture allows to print it without using any primer so that the print can adhere on it.
